The “tag line” for my kennel is, “Where Quality Counts and Show Dogs Hunt” which is too long for the COA but I have been using “Where Quality Counts” for a very long time and tacked on the rest recently. “Ubi Ingenium Enumerat” means ““Where Quality Counts” in Latin.
My kennel colors are mainly green (green stands for hope, joy and happiness, which is what I strive for in life; Joy also happens to be my middle name) with a purple (Purple for royal and justice) accent. One reason for those colors. Also, I was in the Army and a Military Police Officer and green and gold are the colors for the MP Corps. Purple is twofold as Pointers were bred originally for “royalty” and my background in Law Enforcement with the “Justice”.
Raguly line (gold line) stands for difficulties that have been encountered and the color gold it’s self stands for generosity or kindness.
The quail is a specific species of quail (Gambels) which is indigenous to Arizona, where I have moved back to. For me it also stands for my intentions to “get back into” the hunting aspect more with my dogs and plan to compete with them more in Hunt Tests etc…
The solid orange dog stands for my pup, Summit and the liver dog stands for my dog Draak. They are the future of my line in breeding.
Feather (Ostrich) stands for faithfulness (which dogs are), generosity and justice. It is also the “sign” of Robert Plant (this design particularly).
So I am a huge Led Zeppelin fan from long ago… Evermore my kennel name is after their song, “Battle of Evermore”.
